Agung Nugroho Jati was born in Kendal on January 16th, 1988. He joined to IT Telkom (currently known as Telkom University) in 2010 as a lecturer for Department of Telecommunication Engineering until he was transferred to Department of Computer Engineering. He also has been placed as a supervisor of Robotics Research Group under School of Electrical Engineering. He also arranged new laboratory for Computer Engineering called RnEST (Robotics and Embedded System Technology) in 2014 ago. He graduated from Institut Teknologi Telkom at 2009 on Bachelor Degree of Telecommunication Engineering and achieved a Master of Electrical Engineering from the same institution at 2012.

In recent years, he has been pursued and conducted some researches in robotics and embedded system area, such as intelligent system for autonomous robots, control system, embedded programming and its applications, robot localization and mapping, and some robot-based applications. He has also researched about routing protocol optimization for wireless sensor network in his master thesis in 2011. Its purposed to optimize power consumption in every node using hierarchical routing and role division mechanism. And it’s been continued until this time, and also developed into mobile sensing and multi-robot mechanism.
